CCx: Arts | In the Landscape and Of the Landscape

Momentum Gallery is hosting In the Landscape and Of the Landscape, a three-artist exhibit that conveys their wonderment with the natural world and allude to its unseen, inner workings. Dimensional blown glass and mixed media works, emotive paintings, and original drawings attempt to reveal the impermanent and transient nature of things as well as the consequence of Man’s presence in the landscape. This exhibit is ongoing and open to the public. Please be sure to check Momentum Gallery’s regular operating hours before visiting.
CCx: Arts | In the Midst: Environmental Imagery from the Asheville Art Museum

Asheville Art Museum will feature a pop-up exhibition, In the Midst: Environmental Imagery, at The Collider throughout the month of April. Works in the exhibition help viewers think critically about humankind’s impact on the environment. This event is ongoing and open to the public, with limited viewing hours at The Collider’s space from 12-4pm, Monday-Friday from March 29 to April 30. Please keep in mind that The Collider will be closed to the public on April 1-3, 2019.

Asheville Art Museum (AAM) hosts an Art Break exploring its pop-up exhibition, In the Midst: Environmental Imagery from the Asheville Art Museum on loan to The Collider. Hilary Schroeder, curatorial assistant, will lead a conversation about the ways in which the works in the exhibition help us to think critically about humankind’s impact on the environment.
