Learn how to use the Steps to Resilience to focus your work with decision makers during a one-day workshop on September 25, 2019 at The Collider.
Are you responsible for people or assets that are exposed to climate-related hazards? You might be a climate champion—someone who can help organizations make climate-smart decisions. Or perhaps you provide climate services to others with that responsibility? You are among the few, the proud, the climate adaptation practitioners. On September 25, 2019, the U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit team will offer a free workshop to help both champions and practitioners learn the Steps to Resilience, a framework that merges risk management, decision-making, and project management.
In practice, the Steps to Resilience requires time and effort to implement, but the framework is flexible enough to work across departments and simple enough to sustain over whatever period of time is required. This training session will include discussions about how to take next steps at your location, including how to work with others in the national resilience ecosystem of data, tools, and services.
Please consider joining us at the Collider on September 25th (9am to 5pm— lunch included). There will be a two-hour break so you can phone-in for meetings, answer email, or otherwise sustain other commitments. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
